MANDI 2020 WAS A VERY SPECIAL EVENT. THIS TIME THE THEME WAS TO GO VOCAL FOR LOCAL. OUR AGENDA WAS TO FOCAL ON LOCAL. MANY PEOPLE PARTICIPATED BY PRESENTING A BUSINESS MODEL OF A PRODUCT WHICH IS LOCAL TO THEIR REGION/ CITY. WE CAME ACROSS MANY BEAUTIFUL IDEAS ABOUT PRODUCTS THAT ARE DISPERSED IN INDIA AND WE DID NOT EVEN KNOW ABOUT THEM TILL NOW.  


MANDI IS A BRAIN CHILD OF OUR BELOVED PROF. T PRASAD SIR. WHO HAS INGENIOUSLY CREATED A CHARACTER KNOWN AS MANDI SIR. HIS VERY FAMOUS SLOGAN IS "BECHO BECHO SEEKHO, BECH BECH KE SEEKHO"!!!

i ALSO PARTICIPATED WITH IMMENSE ENTHUSIASM AND LET ME INTRODUCE YOU ALL WITH MY PRODUCT, IT IS CALLED MALIHABADI AAM (MANGO). FROM THE TOWN IN LUCKNOW WHERE IT IS MAINLY PRODUCED, THE DASHERI MANGO VARIETY WAS FIRST CULTIVATED IN THE GARDEN OF A NAWAB IN LUCKNOW ABOUT 200 YEARS BACK. SWEET WITH A STRONG AROMA, IT IS FIBRELESS, AND HAS A LONG, PERFECT SHAPE. IT IS BRIGHT YELLOW IN COLOUR, AND IS USED FOR MAKING CHUTNEY AND AAM RAS.
